The University of Connecticut's College of Agriculture, Health, and Natural Resources, and the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station (CAES) are collaborating to educate the public on four invasive pests that tare threatening the health of the forests and trees.
The Emerald Ash Borer has been detected in our state and in our Town.

The Middlebury Public Works Department conducts and administers engineering, highway construction and maintenance, mechanical maintenance, parks maintenance, building maintenance/operations programs, the Transfer Station and includes oversight of sewer and water operations.
Public Works is responsible for the inspection and maintenance of public streets and highways, bridges, sidewalks, trees, storm sewers, mechanical maintenance and repairs to Town automobiles, trucks, and other rollingstock.
