COVID-19 Protection & Guidelines:

Everyone can do their part to help us respond to this emerging public health threat.

CDC is recommending the use of a cloth face covering to keep people who are infected but do not have symptoms from spreading COVID-19 to others.  Please use a face covering when using the Greenway and visiting the Transfer Station.

The cloth face cover is meant to protect other people in case you are infected.

The cloth face coverings recommended are not surgical masks or N-95 respirators.

Medical face masks are critical supplies that should be reserved for healthcare workers and other first responders, as recommended by CDC.

The cloth face cover is not a substitute for social distancing.

CDC continues to recommend that people try keep about 6 feet between themselves and others.

Please use a mask or use social distancing when when walking and running on the Greenway.

We encourage you to use the Greenway rather than the busy street.  Motorists are often traveling above the speed limit making walking and running dangerous for pedestrians.

Local Area COVID-19 Data:

Our employees show that we can make things work – even with precautions to keep them -- and you safe during this pandemic.

Our top priority remains the health and safety of our Town, and that includes the Town employees. We will continue to require appointments for entry into Town facilities.

Individuals from 16 to 44 will be eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine effective April 1, 2021.

Please continue to wear your masks wherever you travel. Masks are a simple barrier to help prevent your respiratory droplets from reaching others. You can reduce the spray of droplets when you wear your mask over your nose and mouth.

YOU MUST WEAR YOUR MASKS WHETHER VACCINATED OR NOT, OR IF YOU HAVE ALREADY HAD COVID AT ALL TOWN FACILITIES.
