Middlebury is part of the Regional School District 15. We are partners with the Town of Southbury.
Middlebury has two elementary schools: Middlebury and Long Meadow; one middle school - Memorial; and the Town shares Pomperaug High School with students from Southbury. The Central Office of the School District is located at 286 Whittemore Road, Post Office Box 395, Middlebury, 06762-0395.
Middlebury Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through grade five. School begins at 9:05 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m.
Long Meadow Elementary School also serves students in kindergarten through grade five. School begins at 9:05 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m.
Memorial Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. School begins at 8:20 a.m. and ends at 2:40 p.m.
Pomperaug High School serves students in grades nine through twelve. School begins at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 2:00 p.m.
Middlebury is also the home to WestOver School for Girls. Westover's Mission Cogitare, Agere, Esse - To Think, To Do, To Be. The mission of Westover School is to provide an environment which inspires the intellectual, artist, athlete and philosopher in each of its students. Westover challenges its young women to think independently, to embrace diversity and to grow intellectually and spiritually. Westover encourages in its students integrity, responsibility and commitment to their community.
PreSchool On The Green offers a 3 yr old program and a 4 yr old program. For more information, contact the individual schools.
