This year there
were three bicentennial themed floats in the parade.
The first bicentennial float,
organized by Lou Orsini,
brought the Middlebury Bicentennial Logo to life.

A second float, sponsored by the Middlebury Lions Club, was
a 40 foot long
memorial to five war eras, with boy scouts
and children of Lions dressed in the uniforms of those eras.
