3. The minutes of the Feb. 2nd meeting were reviewed and unanimously accepted, motioned by R. Pietrorazio, 2nd by R. Vitarelli.

4. Crosby Middlemass gave an update on the LOGO CONTEST. She is well-pleased thus far, entrees starting to come in. She hopes to have a sponsor offsetting the entire contest expense (awards, etc.)

5. Fund-raising/finance report- Mike McCormack reported the $7500.00 request of the Committee to the Board of Selectmen was approved, and the funds have been moved into the Bicentennial account and is available. R. Vitarelli spoke of town dollars vs: fund-raising dollars, and the pitfalls we have to be mindful of.

R. Pietrorazio introduced Ed and Mary Pat Noonan, who have volunteered to work with FINANCE.

6. A local firm donated the cost of the magician who will perform at the Cocktail Party.

7. NEW BUSINESS-

Crosby Middlemass suggested a “Bicentennial Greenway Walk”, where participants would be required to wear Bicentennial tee-shirts to enter. The Steering Committee thought this was an excellent suggestion, and will look for people to “own” this event.

T. McAuliffe spoke on a Remembrance Video that was produced by the Town of Wilton. He was very impressed with the emotional impact these have when done properly, and highly recommends consideration of such a video for our celebration. He will try to make this available for the Committee to view.

8. There being no further business before the Committee, the meeting was adjourned by motion of R. Vitarelli, 2nd by T. McAuliffe, and unanimously voted.

Respectfully submitted,

Raymond Pietrorazio
