April 7th Committee Meeting Notes
Members in attendance: Ray Pietrorazio, Harold West, Jane
Gallagher, Janice Kulpa, Edward B. St. John, Terrence McAuliffe, Robert C.
Desmarais Sr., Robert L. Rafford, Hal Lynch, Doug Veillette
The organizational structure of the committee was discussed. It was decided that
a co-chairmanship with 6 major committees each having a chair and co-chair would
be the members of the overall steering committee. Doug Veillette and Janice
Kulpa were voted in as co-chairpersons of the committee. Honorary Chair will be
Ed St John. The 6 major committees are:
- Finance
- Development/Fundraising Publicity
- Research
- Volunteers
- Major Events
The following people agreed to be on (if not chair) the subcommittees:
- Finance - to be determined
- Major events- Robert D., Ray
- Volunteers- Jane
- Research- Robert R., Harold West
- Publicity- Janice, Terry, Jane
It was also agreed that the Town's websites would be updated to have a link
along with info on the upcoming event. A logo and slogan contest will kick off
the event. Terry, Brendan Gallagher, and Claudia Tata along with Chris O'Donnell
were to meet to set up the information on the website.
It was decided that we would meet on the first Thursday of each month.
