Middlebury P&R and the Middlebury Police Dept. are looking for kids interested in participating in PAL Flag Football. The program will run from mid-September through the end of October with play-off games in November and will be offered in 3 age groups, 7 to 9, 10 to 12, and 13 & 14 years old. Games will most likley be at Mary I Johnson field. There will be a nominal fee determined by the number of participants. If you are interested, please contact the P&R office @ 203.758.2520

Compete in two age groups for three top prizes! Pick-up your pumpkin and contest rules at the Parks & Rec office between Tues., Oct. 12 and Fri., Oct. 15. A panel of judges from the Senior Center will award prizes for the Scariest, the Silliest and the Most Creative. Have a howling good time and return your pumpkin to the Parks & Rec office by October 27th! The list of winners will be posted at the Halloween Haunted Door Walk.

CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING ON THE GREEN

Tree lighting ceremony & Christmas caroling on the Green followed by hot chocolate & refreshments served in the Shepardson Center Auditorium. Enjoy a visit with Santa inside and the second annual Bon fire on the field outside. Non-perishable food items will be collected.
St. GEORGE’S CHURCH ANNUAL GINGERBREAD VILLAGE
St. George’s Church will display their annual holiday gingerbread village from December 5th to the12th. Come view and purchase gingerbread delights. Display will be open during the following hours: Saturday, December 4th 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.,
Sunday, December 5th 12:00 -8:00 p.m., Monday to Friday 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00p.m., Saturday, December 11th 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
