About Middlebury

The Middlebury Town Hall is open for visitors Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. As you drive through town, we welcome and encourage you to come visit our turn of the century churches on the green, fine dining establishments, and amusement park.  One trip through our neighborhoods and you’ll want to come back again and again.

We are a unique, exceptional community that displays our pride in the beautiful surroundings found here.  This is part of what truly makes Middlebury an impressive place to reside.

The Middlebury Board of Selectmen is dedicated to maintaining the beauty of our noteworthy town. We are conveniently located near the crossroads of I-84 and Route 8. Middlebury has eight miles of scenic trails for walking or biking, care provisions and services for our seniors, and we take great pride in our parks and library.  Our road systems are based on a solid infrastructure, featuring public utilities and services.  Middlebury is the home of well-respected private girl’s preparatory school, Westover. Our high school has been ranked in the top 1,000 by Newsweek Magazine.  Other educational facilities here are state-of-the-art and attractive to newcomers.  Middlebury boarders Post University, and is in close proximity to Naugatuck Valley Community College, as well as a University of Connecticut branch

Visit the locality where General Rochambeau once roamed.  Enjoy the quaint small-town feeling you get just by being here.  Stay and dine in our charming restaurants.  Anywhere you want to go, Middlebury takes you there because a visit to Middlebury is always one to remember.

Best Regards,
