ABOUT US
The Public Works Department is comprised of four sub-divisions; Highway, Vehicle Maintenance, Buildings and Grounds.
The Director of Public Works reports to the Public Works Commission and the Board of Selectmen. The Director manages & coordinates the activities of these four divisions including personnel, budgets, procedures, environmental conformance, safety and regulatory issues, communications with other departments.
Fifteen full time employees, four regular part time employees and varying numbers of seasonal employees, staff the Public Works Department.
The Public Works Department is responsible for the upkeep of the physical infrastructure of the Town of Middlebury within the limits of the annual budget.
